NOTIFICATION OF CLOSURE
This message is incredibly difficult to share and I am very sorry to all of our loyal customers and followers. I have made the painful decision to close Earthian Zero Waste Shop. Our final day of trading will be Saturday 25 January 2025
It has been a joy for me to share Earthian with our community in Winchester and beyond. These next few weeks are going to be heartbreaking to go through but it has become increasingly clear to me that I must start to wind things up at 9A Parchment Street.
The reasons are numerous. I have always driven myself and the business to face all the challenges head-on, from the pandemic all the way through to the cost of living crisis. We have managed to achieve so much together, but our costs have been rising and becoming increasingly unmanageable. At times it has felt like the odds were stacked against small businesses in a financial climate that is ever changing, but never easing.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this journey with me. It is the love and loyalty of this community that allowed us to continue as long as we did. I hope that in the future I will still be working for our planet and people in some way.

Plastic-free shopping
Earthian Zero Waste Shop specialises in plastic-free, organic and low waste products. You can bring your own containers to the store to stock up on food staples, such as grains, beans, pasta and cereals.
​
You can also find beauty, kitchen and home products in store, which are carefully selected to be sustainable, toxin-free and ethical. Remember to bring your bottles too as we have a wide range of liquid refills for cleaning and bathing.

Where can you find us?
Winchester is a beautiful city and we're lucky to be nestled in the heart of it along Parchment Street. This line of shops is well known for being independently run and unique, which is exactly the place for us.

Winchester has a park and ride scheme if you're visiting from outside the city. The closest bus stops to us are North Walls, Upper Brooks Street or Silver Hill. If you're coming by bike, you can secure it to the wall mounts at New Energy Yoga, opposite the shop, or use the new bike racks at the top of Parchment Street, next to WH Smith.

We set up our shop with the aim of providing affordable, ethical and sustainable products to Winchester's High Street. All our products and suppliers have been strongly vetted to ensure they fit with our values, which are to be organic, low waste, palm oil free and cruelty free.
